Chester County, Henderson, TN Expedition

Expedition Statistics

267 Volunteers from
18 States provided
1005 Free Services to
774 Patients.
1.8 % of patients were Children.
Free Services included:
Dentistry (cleanings, fillings, extractions) for 416 patients;
Vision (free eye exam & 460 new pairs of glasses) for 420 patients;
and Medical (medical consults & women's health exams) for 169 patients.
The Total Value of Free Care provided by volunteers reached $272,638.00.

 

THANK YOU to Chester County Junior High School for use of the building, the Chester County School Health group, the Carl Perkins Center, Heather Griffin, Amy Eads, Janeane Moore, the Mayor of Henderson - Bobby King, the Chester County Sheriff's Department, and countless other residents and organizations of Chester County whose hard work and perseverance helped to make this clinic a great success!

As always, we are grateful for the volunteers who travelled at their own expense to provide free dental, vision, and medical services to the residents of Chester County, TN and surrounding areas.

To volunteer for this expedition, please download, complete, and send the Volunteer Registration form (submission information is at the bottom of the form). All licensed practitioners should send in a completed volunteer registration form prior to the clinic.


Patient Info

 

 

 

Be sure to arrive early. Lines can be long and start early in the morning; numbers will be given out around 3:30 AM each day prior to the clinic opening. The clinic opens at 6:00 AM, and patients are seen on a first come, first served basis. For the best chance of being seen, plan to arrive by 3:30 AM on the day you wish to receive treatment . Be prepared for rain and cool weather and bring snacks. Once registered, be prepared for long waits before being seen by a doctor.
