To volunteer for this expedition, please download and complete the volunteer registration form (submission information is at the bottom of the form). All licensed practitioners, including veterinary practitioners, should send in a completed volunteer registration form prior to the clinic.

PLEASE NOTE: OUT-OF-STATE Licensed Veterinary Volunteers may register for this veterinary expedition. Please submit your registration form ASAP (submission information is at the bottom of the form)!

 

 

 

Patient Info

 

 

Be sure to arrive early. The clinic opens at 6:00 AM, and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. No eligibility requirements! Lines can be long and start early in the morning. Numbers will be given out around 3:30 AM each day prior to the clinic opening. For the best chance of being seen, plan to arrive by 3:30 AM on the day you wish to receive treatment . Be prepared for the weather and bring snacks. Once registered, be prepared for long waits before being seen by a doctor.

Veterinary Info*

*Veterinary services will be offered first-come-first served based on income eligibility. For more information about qualifying for this service, please contact Jean Jolly.

Animals should be at least 4 months old and in good overall health. They should not have anything to eat for 12 hours before surgery (water is fine).

Veterinary services will be administered at the Schenck Center, adjacent to the Tex Turner Arena in the upper parking lot.

Remote Area Medical® (RAM) operates mobile medical clinics (expeditions) in the U.S. and abroad, where free dental, vision, & medical services are provided by volunteer licensed health practitioners on a
first-come, first-served basis.
