Remote Area Medical® says THANK YOU!

Remote Area Medical® (RAM) would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has helped make this year a success.  Through the efforts of our volunteers and donors we were able to provide free care to thousands of individuals and their pets.  To see more detailed information about the services offered at RAM expeditions this year, please click here.

To RAM VOLUNTEERS

You sacrifice your free time, pay for your travel and your accommodations at expedition sites, and offer your professional services free of charge to the medically underserved.
To all of the dentists; hygienists; dental assistants; ophthalmologists; optometrists; opticians; vision techs; nurses; general medical doctors; specialists; veterinarians; vet techs and assistants; pilots; other skilled professionals; and non-medical volunteers - including our hard-working community hosts - we extend a heart-felt

THANK YOU!!!!

You have helped ease pain, improve eyesight, diagnose disease, and provide comfort to thousands of folks (and their pets) in need.  You have touched the lives of those you have served as well as ours, and we hope you will join us again as we look forward to continuing RAM’s mission of providing free medical, dental, vision, and veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world, and now cities across America.

To the
RAM SUPPORT TEAM

The RAM Support Team is made up of special kinds of volunteers.  You give your time again and again at RAM Headquarters and at several RAM expeditions throughout each year (in the US and abroad).  Some of you are retired, some are students, and some are employed full-time or part-time in fields that may or may not be directly related to health care.  No matter your profession or skill level, what you give is essential to RAM and to the patients we serve.  Your spirit, enthusiasm, and stamina are to be admired – and for all that you do, we wish to express an extra-special

THANK YOU!!!!

While saying “thank you” is never enough, we hope you know how much we appreciate your steadfast sacrifices, and we hope you will continue to serve with RAM.

To RAM DONORS
If volunteers are the heartbeat of Remote Area Medical®, our donors are the life blood - providing funds for all the equipment, supplies, and maintenance required to operate our programs across the United States and around the world.  Your continued support is vital to what we do, and on behalf of all whom your gifts have served, we say
THANK YOU!!!!

Although it is not easy to sum up in words the difference that you all make in the lives of so many folks, perhaps it is best to end this note with a message sent to RAM Headquarters from a vision patient and her husband, who both received eyeglasses at a RAM clinic earlier this year: "We cannot adequately express our gratitude for our glasses.  ...Thank you just does not express our feelings, but THANK YOU...everyone of you!"

Indeed, thank you.

Sincerely,

Stan Brock
