On January 1, 2026, Remote Area Medical’s (RAM®) Board of Directors announced a leadership transition. Jeff Eastman retired as Chief Executive Officer and Chris Hall, currently Chief Operations Officer, assumed the role of CEO.
With this leadership transition, our mission remains the same as when Stan Brock founded RAM, to provide free, quality healthcare to those in need.
Former CEO, Jeff Eastman

“The Board hired Jeff Eastman as CEO in 2015 on the recommendation of Stan Brock, RAM’s founder. Since then, he has done an incredible job in leading the organization during some very challenging times, including the death of Founder, Stan Brock,” said Myers.
During Eastman’s tenure as CEO, RAM continued its mission of providing free, high-quality medical, dental, and vision care to communities across the country and around the world. Since he assumed the role of CEO in 2015, RAM has served more than 300,000 patients. Through more than 800 pop-up clinics and hybrid telehealth events, delivering more than $105 million in free medical care.
“To support continuity and a smooth transition, RAM’s Board has asked Jeff to serve in an advisory role throughout 2026,” said John Myers, Board President.
Meet RAM’s New CEO, Chris Hall

Chris Hall has been a dedicated volunteer with RAM since he was 12 years old. In 2013, he took on the role of Chief Operating Officer. Under Chris’s leadership, RAM has experienced remarkable growth and transformation, expanding from 12 clinics annually to more than 150 events in 2024. His tenure has seen the staff grow from 13 to 65 members, significantly enhancing the organization’s ability to provide free, quality healthcare to those in need, preventing pain and alleviating suffering.
“Chris Hall has a deep understanding of RAM’s operations, its people, and the delivery of care at the heart of our mission,” said Myers. “He is a trusted leader who has earned the confidence of our staff, volunteers, partners, and Board. We are grateful for Jeff Eastman’s leadership and the strong foundation he leaves behind, and we are confident RAM is well positioned for the future under Chris’s leadership.”
Chris’s innovative spirit has driven RAM to new heights. He launched the world’s first mobile digital denture lab. And designed mobile optical labs capable of producing up to 400 pairs of eyewear per day.
Awards and Recognitions
In 2015, he received Congressional Recognition for hosting mobile medical clinics in Nevada. He was also honored with the Roane State Outstanding Alumnus Award in 2018.
A visionary in integrating technology into healthcare, Chris pioneered the deployment of RAM’s telehealth program and led the organization in achieving the first FAA-approved drone delivery of medication during a clinic in Wise, Virginia. His efforts have also expanded RAM’s international presence and disaster response capabilities, leading missions in Haiti, Nepal, Namibia, and Puerto Rico during their active years in disaster relief.
Notably, he was involved in the first stage of the World Health Organization’s Emergency Medical Team certification process. In 2016, Chris was a speaker at the Remote Healthcare Middle East conference in Abu Dhabi, further showcasing his expertise and dedication.
Chris has been instrumental in developing the CORE Volunteer program. And initiating mobile dental-only clinics, fostering a robust and engaged volunteer community.
His work and RAM’s impact have been featured in award-winning documentaries. Including Remote Area Medical and Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story.
More About Chris Hall
Driven by a personal commitment to making the world a better place, Chris says, “I love being able to lead others in helping people. I may not be able to extract a tooth, but I can set up opportunities for dentists to do those procedures.” His vision for the future is clear: “We want to continue adapting and evolving to the changing landscape of healthcare. Just because we’re recognized as the leaders in mobile medical clinics, we need to continue improving so we can continue serving for decades to come.”
Outside of his professional achievements, Chris is a loving husband and father of three. He resides in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, where he continues to inspire and lead with dedication and compassion.
