Mark your calendar because in just over a month Remote Area Medical (RAM®) is holding our first-ever telethon! Join us, we will live stream on July 29 from 2-10 p.m. (EST), with host Bill Scott. You will hear from members of RAM’s team, be eligible to enter prize drawings each hour, and of course, help RAM raise money to continue having free clinics that provide quality dental, vision, and medical care to those in need.
Living the Giving Telethon Streaming Live —
“Living the Giving” is a phrase used by long-time RAM Donor, Harry Tobiassen. He used the phrase while discussing why he and his wife, Marie, have chosen to support RAM since they learned about Stan Brock, RAM’s Founder, more than 20 years ago.

During the telethon you will see never-before seen videos, hear from members of RAM’s Board of Directors, volunteers, patients, and RAM leadership. Each hour of the telethon our host will hold prize drawings. Donors will qualify for opportunities to win prizes such as:

Matching Campaign During the Telethon Live Stream —
Make your donation to RAM go twice as far during our telethon! Thanks to a generous grant from the Foxwynd Foundation, RAM is excited to announce a matching campaign. The Foxwynd Foundation is matching up to $65,000 in donations during the telethon. Every donations will have twice the impact!

Share-a-thon —
RAM’s telethon will stream exclusively through social media — so I guess you could call it . . . a share-a-thon! We want to encourage you to share our telethon with your friends, family, and followers. Sharing the telethon is a great way to help us spread the word about RAM and tell more people about what we do. Introduce your friends, family, and followers to RAM’s mission and inspire them to get involved.
Why is the share-a-thon important to send to everyone you know? Because it is an easy way to support RAM! It tells the social media algorithms that people are interested in our content, and it shows RAM’s pages to more people. Help us bring more awareness to RAM, who we are, and what our mission is.

We are excited to have Bill Scott as our host for this upcoming telethon. Scott has lots of experience working with nonprofits and hosting telethons. He has been working with nonprofit organizations for 35 years, and he has hosted more than 700 fundraisers. We look forward to having him here at HQ with us for the telethon!
Throughout the night you can expect to hear Bill Scott updating you on the progress we’ve made, telling you about the prizes, giving you background information about RAM, and much more.
