Help Provide Free Care
Your gift helps RAM provide free dental, vision, and medical services to people in need.
Remote Area Medical (RAM®) has been providing free, quality dental, vision, and medical care to those in need since 1985. Since our founding, RAM has been funded through private donations from the public. Because of your donations, we are able to provide all our services completely free of charge — patients never have to worry about the cost of care at a RAM Clinic.
“If you’re looking into helping or funding this, just know that it makes a difference,” said Hope, a patient who came to a free RAM Clinic for both dental and vision care. “I can’t take money away from taking care of my kids to take care of my tooth or my glasses. And you help that happen, so everything is okay and I’m able to be the best me that I can be.”
RAM knows how to stretch a dollar to make every cent count. For example, with just a $25 donation, our volunteers can provide glasses to 25 patients, restoring their vision and their ability to drive or read again. A $50 donation can provide glucose tests for 100 patients, in some cases detecting issues like diabetes that they would not have known about. A donation of $1,000 can purchase an ultrasonic machine to clean dental instruments. No matter the size of the donation, you are making a difference and helping RAM continue to provide free care.
