Clinic Schedule

Over the past 35 years, Remote Area Medical has provided free medical, dental, vision, and veterinary care to hundreds of thousands of people through the operation of pop-up clinics.  RAM operates its clinics in communities large and small, both in the United States and abroad.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to capture our collective attention, RAM continues to prioritize the safety and health of patients, volunteers, and staff.  Please be sure to check your specific clinic locations for important updates and announcements.

 
FREE POP-UP CLINIC SCHEDULE

Every RAM clinic is free and open to the public.  There are no qualifying questions and ID is not required.  As we implement new COVID screening procedures, please continue to check specific clinic locations for information about parking, ticketing, and COVID-19 screenings and protocols.

Laredo, Texas (Operation Lone Star) @ Francisco S. Lara Academy
Jul 26 – Jul 30 all-day

The patient parking lot will open no later than 12:01 a.m. (midnight) on the first night of the event and remain open. As patients arrive at the parking lot, they will be provided with additional information regarding clinic opening processes and next steps.

This healthcare event, as part of Operation Lone Star, will be held Monday-Thursday: 8 am – 3:30 pm, and Friday: 8 am – 2 pm. All services are provided on a first come, first served basis.  No ID required. 

Patients should be prepared with their own food, water, medicines, and clothing, when arriving early. Bathrooms will be provided. If coming for immunizations for children, please bring the child’s shot records.

Services available at the free clinic will include dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental x-rays, eye exams, glaucoma testing, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, and general medical exams. Due to time constraints, be prepared to choose between DENTAL and VISION services. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic. 

Patients will be required to wear a face covering and must undergo a COVID-19 screening before entering the clinic.

In some situations, such as inclement weather, volunteer cancellations, or other circumstances outside of RAM’s control, the parking lot may open earlier or a smaller number of patients served. RAM encourages everyone who would like services, especially dental services, to arrive as early as possible. *Clinic closing time may vary based on each service area’s daily capacity. Please check RAM’s clinic FAQ page for more information.

Raymondville, Texas (Operation Lone Star) @ First United Methodist Church

Springfield, Tennessee (One Day Clinic) @ The Center

Free dental, vision and medical services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals seeking care are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. Please park in a line beginning at the front of The Center located at 401 N Main St, Springfield, TN 37172. Starting at 3:00AM, vehicles will be processed through the check-in station where they will receive information on the admission process. Clinic doors open at 6:00am on Saturday.

Patients should be prepared with their own food, water, medicines, and clothing, when arriving early. Bathrooms will be provided.

Due to time constraints, be prepared to choose between DENTAL and VISION services. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic.
