CORE Volunteers are crucial to the mission of
Remote Area Medical.

No matter your background, you can play a critical role in helping RAM prevent pain and alleviate suffering!

What Is A CORE Volunteer?

CORE Volunteers are leaders from diverse backgrounds who are driven to make a significant impact on a large scale. Our CORE Volunteer team members undergo comprehensive training in specific areas of the RAM Clinic, facilitated by RAM Staff, where they gain hands-on experience during clinics.

If you are interested in becoming a CORE Volunteer, please complete the form below.

RAM’s CORE Volunteer team will contact you for an initial interview.

If RAM is a good fit for you, we’ll arrange volunteer opportunities and training.

Once training is complete, and an assessment is
passed, you’ll have the opportunity to help RAM Staff manage designated areas of our clinics.

I feel like I’m at home. I feel like I offer something of value to people. I feel like people value me. It’s a feeling of family and friendship. – Dustin, RAM CORE Volunteer
