Remote Area Medical® is collaborating with Lincoln Memorial University to operate a mobile spay/neuter RAM Veterinary Clinic in conjunction with the RAM mobile medical clinic on June 1 – 2 in Harrogate, TN.
The veterinary clinic will serve unaltered pets of RAM Clinic patients, and will be located at Lincoln Memorial University, 6965 Cumberland Gap Pkwy Harrogate, TN 37752.
People taking part in the human services clinic may bring their unfixed cats and dogs with them to the RAM clinic for free spay/neuter and other veterinary services. DO NOT bring pets that have already been spayed or neutered! Pet owners should bring large dogs on leashes and small dogs and cats in carriers. Animals should not be fed after midnight unless they are less than 6 months old. All animals may drink water
The Tex Turner Arena parking lot will open at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Veterinary numbers will be distributed at the parking entrance and volunteers will register animals overnight. Pet owners should expect to drop off pets around 4:30 a.m., as instructed during registration. They can pick up animals late afternoon. Patient numbers for the dental, vision, and medical clinic will be distributed no later than 3 a.m. and the clinic will open at 6 a.m.
The RAM clinic is free and open to the public.
The RAM Veterinary Clinic is open only to those receiving services at the RAM dental, vision, and medical clinic.
