Remote Area Medical – RAM® is coming to Callaway, Florida on December 15 – 16 in response to the devastation left by Hurricane Michael. This special RAM clinic is thanks to collaboration with Walmart, Florida Blue, Ascension, and PanCare Health. The event is being held at the Walmart Supercenter in Callaway and services will include dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental x-rays, eyeglasses made on-site, and general medical exams. All RAM services are free, and no ID is required.

Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6 a.m. each morning. Parking for the event will be allowed beginning at 5 a.m. each morning. No overnight parking or camping will be allowed on-site. Services will begin by 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16. RAM encourages everyone who would like services, especially dental and vision services, to arrive as early as they are able (5 a.m. or later) each day.

Typically, Remote Area Medical opens the clinic parking lot no later than 12 a.m. midnight on the first night of the event. Ticket distribution usually begins at 3 a.m., and patients are then served in numerical order according to their ticket number when clinic doors open, which typically occurs at 6 a.m. This process will repeat throughout the clinic days. In some situations, such as inclement weather, volunteer cancellations, or other circumstances outside of RAM’s control, ticketing may occur earlier than 3 am.  RAM encourages everyone who would like services, especially dental services, to arrive as early as possible.  

Dental, vision and medical services are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to time constraints, be prepared to choose between DENTAL and VISION services. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic. This event is free and open to the public.

This Remote Area Medical dental clinic is in partnership with Meharry Dental School’s “Oral Health Day”.

THIS IS A DENTAL ONLY CLINIC.

Patients will receive tickets beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8th on a first come, first served basis. Patients are then served in numerical order according to their ticket number when clinic doors open, which occurs at 7:30 a.m. In some situations, such as inclement weather, volunteer cancellations, or other circumstances outside of RAM’s control, ticketing may occur earlier.  RAM encourages everyone who would like dental services to arrive as early as possible.
